The New York Hospital or the Old New York Hospital or The City Hospital was founded in 1771 by a Charter of King George III. It is the second oldest hospital in New York City and third-largest in the USA. In 1998 it merged with Presbyterian Hospital and is called New York-Presbyterian Hospital now.
