Stralsund is a Hanseatic town on Germany’s Baltic coast and in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Stralsund’s old town is a World Heritage site.
St Nicholas’ Church in Stralsund is the oldest of the three major parish churches in the City. It was dedicated in 1279 to St Nicholas of Myra, the Patron Saint of Sailors. Since 1524 it is an Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Alexanderplatz is located in Central Mitte District of Berlin. It is a large public square and transport hub. It has many malls, stores, S-Bahn connections and has a TV Tower.It is named after Russian Czar Alexander I
GDR issued a postage stamp Alexader Platz on 13 Jun 1973 and the Postcard on St Nicholas’ Church was issued on 17 Apr 1990.
