Miniature Sheet on Classic and Vintage Cars – Isle of Man 1995.
Motor Racing started in Isle of Man in 1905. To commemorate 90th Anniversary of motor racing a set of stamps and a miniature sheet were issued by Isle of Man Post Office on 08 May 1995.
A FDC with One Pound Miniature Sheet is listed. The MS features the winner of 1905 Tourist Trophy John S Napier in an Arrol Johnston passing the Bungalow, a recognised station on the TT circuit. His average speed was 33.9 mph over the 52-mile course.
