India Post issued a set of 10 Post Cards on Mysore Heritage in 2014.
In 1897 at the close of festivities, during the marriage of Princess Jayalakshmammanniyavaru, the greater part of the wooden Palace was almost destroyed by fire. The postcard features the Wooden Mysore Palace of 1886.
