ATM Labels on Volcanoes – Costa Rica

ATM Label stamps issued by Costa Rica are listed below. Costa Rica has issued 14 ATM label design stamps with different values since 1993.

01 Mar 2005   –   Volcano Arenal – It is an active stratovalcano in North eastern Costa Rica which last erupted in 2010 . It is located in Alajuela Province of San Carlos Canton and about 90 Kms northwest of San Jose. it is 1633 metres high with rocks 7,000 years old.

01 Mar 2005   –   Volcano Irazu – It is an active Volcano located in Cordillera Central range near city of Cartago in Costa Rica. it last erupted in 1994 and has a height of 1,862 metres.
