Chicha – National Drink of Peru on Stamps -2006.
A 6.0 sol Stamp was issued by Peru on its National Drink Chicha. It is a beverage from the Andes and Amazon region of South America. Chicha is actually corn beer made from variety of maize land races ( Chicha de jora). Chicha is also made from quinoa, peanut, palm fruit , potato etc.
