19 August is celebrated as World Photography Day . France issued a 2.32 euro stamp on 27 Feb 2023 on Dominique Issermann is a French Photographer ( born 11 April 1947). She specialises in Black and White Photography in fields of Portraits , Fashion Designing and Advertising.
Karnataka Postal Circle issued a Special Cancellation on World Photography Day on 19th Aug 2023.
France issued a 2.56 Euro stamp on Dora Maar on 31 May 2021 . Henriette Thoedora Markovitch (1907-1997) was French Photographer, painter and Poet. She was depicted in many works of Pablo Picasso , Dora Maar inspired the artist to some of his masterpieces. But she was also a unique artist, photographer and painter.
