Commemorative Coin on National Defence Academy (NDA) Khadakwasla, Pune.

A Commemorative Coin of Rs 75 was released on 30th Nov 2023 by India Govt Mint Hyderabad to commemorate 75 Years of NDA (1949-2024). The coin has Sudan Block on one side. NDA has an Alumni numbering 38,000. NDA alumni have been awarded Three Param Vir Chakra, 12 Ashok Chakra , 32 Maha Vir Chakra , 45 Kirti Chakra, 152 Shaurya Chakra and 163 Vir Chakra for Valour and Gallantry.
First batch of Female Cadets inducted for training in 2022. It is a unique Inter Services Organisation. NDA celebrates 75 Years of Service to Nation on 16 Jan 2024.
The weight of coin is 35 grams and it is made of Silver (.500) Copper (50%, Nickel 5%, Zinc 5%)
