First Balloon Flight Cover -India 1963

On 23rd Sep 1870, a Balloon “Neptune” was released in Paris carrying letters . On that day ’69’ mal carrying flights were made . Those were the First Balloon Mail Covers.

In India an organised Philatelic Balloon flight took place in Bangalore (Now Bengaluru) on 14 Nov 1963. It was for Children’s aid starting the First Pestalozzi Children’s Village of India in Bangalore.
