Legendary Chevrolet Cars & Automobiles on Stamps – Marshall Islands 1998.
Marshall islands an Island country in the Pacific Ocean issued a set of eight stamps on Legendary Chevrolet Cars on 01 Sep 1998. These stamps were issued in minisheets of eight and each with a denomination of 60 cents.
The cars featured are
1955 Cameo Carrier Fleetside– A Personal Pick up was introduced by Chevrolet in 1955. It was the 1955 Cameo Carrier Fleetside with deeply hooded headlights ,wraparound front and rear windshields.Its small block 265 cubic-inch V-8 produced 145 horsepower allowing the Cameo to cruise smoothly at 70 mph.
1941 Special Deluxe – A dependable sturdy automobile was the need of early 40s and 1941 Super Deluxe as a handsomely rugged “Woody” fitted the slot. It was a perfect blend of cosmopolitan and rustic charm of Country. The 4-door 8-passenger Special Deluxe ,a wood framed body and a V-8 engine which produced 80 hp.

145 Euro Cent – BMW 507 – Roadster produced by BMW from 1956-59. Intended for export to USA @ 1000 Cars /year but was too expensive and only 222 cards produced. Designed by Albert Von Goertz it was a 3168 cc /M507/1 V8 engine two door convertible.
145 Euro Cent – Mercedes Benz 220 S(W111)- W111 was chassis code given to cars built between 1959-65. Also called Fintail . Four door Sedans and Two Door Coupes were produced.It had 2.2 litre engines.
Veteran and Vintage Cars of Australia on stamps – 1984
A set of Five stamps in a Vertical se-tenanat strip of Five was issued by Australia on Veteran and Vintage Cars assembled in Australia. The stamps were issued on 14 Mar 1984. The cars built before Dec 1918 are Veteran Cars and those built between Dec 1918 and Dec 1930 are known as Vintage Cars.

Tarrant 1906- Veteran Car– Australian designed and built ,Tarrant runabout was producedby Colonel Harley Tarrant at the Tarrant Motor and Engg Co Melbourne.
Australian Six 1919 – Vintage Car -Originally built by F H Gordon and Co,later produced by Australian Motors Ltd Ashfield ,NSW.
Summit 1923 – Vintage Car -The four cylinder Summit tourer was assembled by Summit motors of Sydney.
Chic 1924 -Vintage Car-Designed for Australian conditions assembled by “Chic” Cars limited of Adelaide.
