Guru Nanak Dev Ji (1469-1539) was born at Nankana Sahib. He is the Founder of Sikhism and First Guru of the Sikhs. India Post issued a Miniature sheet on 09 Nov 2019 to commemorate his 550th Birth Anniversary also known as Parkash Guru Purab. A First Day Cover with stamps is listed.

Guru Nanak Dev Ji founded Sikhism in 1469 and on Baisakhi Day of 1699 Guru Gobind Singh introduced Khalsa Identity in Anandpur Sahib on the banks of river Sutlej. The stamp features Anandpur Sahib and Kesgarh Sahib Gurudwara. It is also one of the Five Takhts of Sikhs.
