First Day Cover -Prayer Wheel – Stamps of Bhutan 2017.
Prayer wheels are very important objects for Buddhist practice.The iside of the prayer wheel is filled with chants printed or written on paper and wrapped around a central spindle. Chants are also written outside of the wheel. Buddhists believe that by turning the prayer wheels their body ,speech and mind will be purified.
