Joint Issue of Stamps on Flowers– Pakistan – Singapore 2016.
Pakistan and Singapore issued a set of two stamps as a Joint issue on 18 Oct 2016. The theme was Flowers. The two flowers on stamps are
Vanda Miss Joaquim – Singapore – It is also known as Singapore orchid andwas chosen as National Flower of Singapore from among 40 flowers on 15 Apr 1981 and the variety “Agnes” was chosen for its vibrant colors ,hardiness and resilience-that reflect Singapore spirit.
Jasmine –Pakistan– Jasmine is a genus of shrubs and vines in the olive family. It is the National flower of Pakistan. Its flamboyant white flowers and scent is ideal for moon gardens.
