The erstwhile EastGermany issued a miniature sheet on 24 Jan 1984 to commemorate 175th Birth Anniversary of German Composer Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy (3 Feb 1809 – 4 Nov 1847).
Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy was a German Composer , Pianist ,organist & Conductor of early romantic period .He wrote Symphonies, Concertos, Oratorios, Piano Music & Chamber Music.
