Indian “Rupees 2 Annas 8” Note fetches Rs 2.95 lakhs at an Auction

A Unique fractional note of “Rupees 2 annas 8” introduced in 1918 used in Bombay Circle was recently auctioned in Mumbai and fetched a price of Rs 2.95 lakhs against a base price of Rs2.5 Lakhs.
