Chinese String Musical Instruments – Stamps of Hong Kong 1993

Hong Kong issued a set of Four stamps on Chinese Musical Instruments on 14 April 1993.

80c -Pipa –  An instrument of Fine handicraft,exquisite workmanship and beauty it is a Chinese lute and has a resonate ,delicate ,clear and enchanting timbre it holds a unique position among the Chinese plucked instruments.

$1.80 -Erhu Most Widely used bowed instruments in China

$2.30-Ruan – It is Chinese fretted instrument .It is used by orchestras .

$5 -Gehu -It is bass string instrument .It is Chinese equivalent of the cello .
