Stamps on Jewish Art – Stamps of Israel 1974
Israel issued a set of three stamps on 11 Jun 1974 on the theme of Jewish Art.
1.25 – Moshe Kisling – (1891- 1953) was a Polish born French Painter . His Painting Lady in Blue was painted in 1922. It is held in Tel Aviv Museum.
2.00 – Chana Orloff – 1888-1968 – She was an Israeli art deco and figurative art sculptor whose work Mother and Child appears on the stamp and is held in Museum of Art En Harod
3.00 -Chaim Soutine – 1893-1943 -He was a Russian-French painter of Jewish origin .His work Girl in Blue appears on the Israel stamps and is held in The Israel Museum Jerusalem.
