42nd World Table Tennis Championships at Gothenburg from 11 to 23 May 1993. Jan Ove Waldner of Sweden won bronze in men’s singles.

European Bowling championships at Malmo from 09 Jun to 20 Jun 1993

13th World Men’s Handball Championships at Gothenburg from 9 to 20 Mar 1993.Russia won the title beating France.Sweden won the Bronze.
