Legendary Chevrolet Cars & Automobiles on Stamps – Marshall Islands 1998.
Marshall islands an Island country in the Pacific Ocean issued a set of eight stamps on Legendary Chevrolet Cars on 01 Sep 1998. These stamps were issued in minisheets of eight and each with a denomination of 60 cents.
The cars featured are
1955 Cameo Carrier Fleetside– A Personal Pick up was introduced by Chevrolet in 1955. It was the 1955 Cameo Carrier Fleetside with deeply hooded headlights ,wraparound front and rear windshields.Its small block 265 cubic-inch V-8 produced 145 horsepower allowing the Cameo to cruise smoothly at 70 mph.
1941 Special Deluxe – A dependable sturdy automobile was the need of early 40s and 1941 Super Deluxe as a handsomely rugged “Woody” fitted the slot. It was a perfect blend of cosmopolitan and rustic charm of Country. The 4-door 8-passenger Special Deluxe ,a wood framed body and a V-8 engine which produced 80 hp.
