EXPO 2010 – Shanghai -Stamps of UAE
The Bureau International Des Expositions (BIE) general assembly in Paris awarded Shanghai the right to host EXPO 2010 from 01 May to 31Oct 2010 . The main site was on both the banks of Huangpu river in Shanghai China located in 628 hector area.192 countries participated and over 73 million people visited the exhibition. On 16 Oct 2010 1.03 million visitors set a single day record.
United Arab Emirates issued two stamps on 13 May 2010 to mark this occasion. A FDC is listed showing UAE pavilion at Shanghai.
