Europa Stamps on Circus – Malta 2002
The theme for EUROPA 2002 was Circus. 58 participating countries issued 93 stamps on this common theme. Malta issued a stamp on the theme of Circus. The stamp was issued on 09 May 2002 and featured Circus Clown. The stamp was designed by Roberta Zahra.
2002 was also the year of Introduction of Common European currency EURO. Twelve European countries started using Euro from 01 Jan 2002.
