Sir Winston Leonard Spencer- Churchill was a British Statesman, Army officer & Writer who was Prime Minister of United Kingdom from 1940 to 1945 and again from 1951 to 1955. He Led Britain to Victory in Second World War.
The Churchill Memorial Museum was opened in Brunei in 1973 but was demolished to make way for the Royal Regalia Building in 1991.
A Set of two stamps was issued by Brunei on 31 Dec 1973 on Churchill Memorial building. The 12 sen stamp shows Churchill painting outdoors and in 50Sen stamp he is making a Victory “V” sign.
