APS Cover Jan 2019 – Army Dental Corps – 3rd Reunion
The Dental Services in Indian Army came into existence on 01 Feb 1941 with the commissioning of 07 Officers in the Indian Medical Service Dental IMS (D). The Indian Navy and Indian Air Force got their Dental Services in Apr 1943 and Apr 1945 respectively. On 26 Jan 1950, the name of the Corps was changed to Army Dental Corps. It became Additional Directorate General of Dental Services in 1995 and Directorate General Of Dental Services in 2001.
APS issued a cover on 16 Feb 2019 to mark its 3rd Reunion.
