Bhutanese cuisine employs a lot of Red Rice, Buckwheat and Maize. Buckwheat is mainly eaten in Bumthang, maize in eastern districts and rice elsewhere. The diet in Hills also includes chicken, Yak meat, dried beef, pork, pork fat and lamb.
A Miniature sheet containing Nine stamps was issued by Bhutan Post on 09 Oct 2015 on Foods of Bhutan. All stamps are of Nu 15 Denomination. The Foods featured are
