1966 FIFA World Cup Champions -England

1966 FIFA World Cup, the Eighth World Cup was held in England from 11 Jul to 30 Jul 1966. England won the 1966 FIFA World Cup at Wembley Stadium, London. England first played in 1950 and has part of every World Cup since then. It beat West Germany 3-2 in extra time to lift the trophy. Geoff Hurst two goals in the Final.

A FDC with the caption England World Champions is listed. The stamp overprinted England Winners was used on FDC dated 18 Aug 1966.
