Dzongs are Fortress type Architecture buildings found in Bhutan and Tibet. Normally have courtyards, administrative Government offices, temples & Monks accommodation.
Bhutan issued a miniature sheet containing six stamps of 30Nu each on Dzongs of Bhutan. The Stamps were issued on 02 Nov 2015. The Dzongs featured on stamps are
30 Nu – Rinpung Dzong (15th Century ) Paro 30 Nu – Semtokha Dzong (1629) Semtokha 30 Nu -Punakha Dzong (1628) 30 Nu – Trongsa Dzong (1647) The largest Fortress Dzong in Bhutan 30 Nu – Trashigang Dzong (1659) 30 Nu – Jakar Dzong (1549) Bumthang.
