Stamps on Waterfalls – China 2001.
PR China issued a set of three stamps on Waterfalls on 22 Jul 2001.
Huangguoshu waterfalls (Yellow Fruit Tree Waterfall) on Baishui river located 128 km from Guiyang capital of Guizhou province are the largest waterfalls in China. They are surrounded by 18 smaller waterfalls on which stamps were released in 2001
80 fen -Doupotang Waterfall – It is located on Baishui river nested at Huangguoshu at Guizhou province and it is also called steep slope waterfall. It is located in the Huangguoshu complex.
80 fen – Dishuitan Waterfall – Highest fall in Huangguoshu complex at 410 metres.
80 fen – Yinlianzhuitan Waterfall. This is one of the most beautiful waterfalls nested at Huangguoshu at Guizhou province It is named Yinlianzhuitan as it resembles silver chains falling in a well.
