State Flag of Kentucky – USA 1976.
The USA issued a set of 50 stamps on State Flags of States of the USA on 23 Feb 1976. We are listing them in Alphabetical order of States name. All stamps are 13 cents denomination.
Kentucky State Flag – The First State flag of Iowa was adopted in 1962. The Flag features the State Seal on a field of blue. The seal is in centre with the motto “United we Stand, Divided We Fall”. Above the trigs of Goldenrod is the Commonwealth seal and Words “Commonwealth of Kentucky”
A First Day Cover is listed, it shows Kentucky State Flag. It features the celebrations on the admission of Statehood.
