Germany has issued a set of stamps on Lighthouses from 2004 to 2008.
12 Jul 2007 – 45 Pf – Bremerhaven Oberfeuer
Bremerhaven Oberfeuer Lighthouse is located in Bremerhaven. It is also known as Simon Loschen Tower or Loschen Lighthouse. It is the oldest operative lighthouse in Germany’s North Seashore. It is active from 1855 and stands at 37 m. A First Day Cover is listed.
12 Jul 2007 – 55 euro cent- Hornum at Sylt which was built in 1907. It is 34 metres high.
