Stamps on Leprosy Hospital Hendala – Sri Lanka 2009.
Sri Lanka issued a stamp of Rupees Five on 23 Apr 2009 to commemorate the Tricentenary of Leprosy Hospital Hendala near Colombo. The Dutch established a Leprosy Asylum near south Bank of river Kelani near Colombo in 1708-09. An FDC with stamp cancelled at National Blood Transfusion Service Auditorium Colombo.
