Azerbaijan issued two stamps on Gastronomy of Azerbaijan.
Piti (0.5 manat) – Quantity 5,000 – It is a traditional Azerbaijan Soup from the Caucasus area. Main ingredients are mutton with vegetables like tomatoes, potatoes and Chickpeas) infused with saffron water. In Iran it is known as Abgoosht.
Dolma (0.5 manat) – Quantity 5,000 – Belongs to family of stuffed dishes from Balkans , South Caucasus. Common vegetables for stuffing are tomato, pepper,onion,eggplant & gourd. Stuffed cabbage rolls and Vine leave rolls are Popular.
