Slovenia issued a Miniature Sheet containing one stamp on Istrian Smooth-coated Hound. It is a dog breed from Croatia developed for hunting fox and rabbit. It is still kept as a hunting dog.It is a scent hound. Four stamps on other Dog Breeds were also issued.

The Slovenian Mountain Hound – NVI  C- Medium sized breed of scent hunting Dog  from Slovakia. It is a scent Hound used for boar hunting.

The Istrian Smooth-coated Hound – No Value Indicator D- Hunting Dog breed from Croatia. It is a scent Hound.
