Rajbhasa Diwas – 14 Sep 2020
The Constituent Assembly of India adopted Hindi as Rajbhasa on 14 Sep 1949.
A Special Cover on Rajbhasa Diwas (National Language Day) was issued on 14 Sep 2006 at Jaipur.The Cover design depicts Hindi Book with Mahatma Gandhi and his quote in the Hindi Language.
The Special Cancellation depicts Hindi letter “OM” and slogan “Learn Hindi- Write Hindi”. Also marked 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
Russia and India jointly issued a set of Stamps on 26 Oct 2017. The Theme of stamps were Folk Dances of Russia (Beryozka Dance) and India (Bhavai Dance).A sheetlet issued by Russia are listed below.
