The Tisza Palace in Geszt was built around 1760 in baroque and Louis Seize style. • the Forgách–Lipthay Palace • Hungary’s most visited and third largest palace is the baroque Festetics Palace in Keszthely. • The baroque Zichy Palace is in Várpalota. • The Wenckheim Palace in Szabadkígyós was designed by Miklós Ybl and built between 1875 and 1879. • Becsky–Kossuth Manor House in Komlódtótfalu was built in the first decades of the 19th century and came into the possession of the Kossuth family in 1860 by marriage. • Nádasdy Palace in Nádasdladány is one of Hungary’s most beautiful palaces from the historic revival period. • Built based on the ideas of Count Gyula Andrássy, the Andrássy Palace in Tiszadob is another fine example of the country’s historic revival palace architecture.
