Khalaq – Newspaper of Afghanistan 1979.

Khalaq was a faction of People’s Democratic Party of Afghanistan and was also the name of the leftist Newspaper of the same organisation. The party was established by Noor Mohammed Taraki (1916-1979) in 1965 . In 1966 the Party started publishing the Newspaper by the same name. It was published in Pashto and Dari. After its sixth issue the Newspaper was banned by Government of King Zahir Shah on 22 May 1966.
