European Football Championship

Initially planned for 2020 before being postponed due to COVID-19, the European Football Championship will take place from 11 June to 11 July 2021. For the first time in its history, it will not be organised by a single country, but will take place right across Europe, in a dozen selected host cities. The Stadio Olimpico in Rome will be the venue for the opening match, and the final will be contested at Wembley, in London.

On 14 Jun 2021, one Miniature sheet with two stamps dedicated to the theme has been issued by Belgium. No Face Value Indicator. Russia has issued a Se-Tenant Strip with Three stamps on 11 Jun 2021.

Belgium beat Russia 3-0 on 12 Jun 2021 at Krestovsky Stadim Gazprom Arena in St Petersburg.
