About UEFA Euro 2020TM European Football Championship
The European football championship is Europe’s most prestigious international football cup. The first finals were held in 1960, when it was known as the European Nations Cup. On every occasion the teams reach the final tournament after playing qualifying rounds. . The football tournament for the men’s teams of UEFA member countries is held every four years, but the 2020 championship was postponed due to the pandemic and is now being staged between 11 June and 11 July 2021. This year the European championships are celebrating their 60th anniversary and the matches of the UEFA EURO 2020TM will be played in European cities.
The central element of UEFA’s official logo is the bridge, symbolising togetherness as bridges connect people, just as football does. A full stadium with supporters that change color by the effect of movement: the supporters holding colored signs forming the Belgian tricolor. The stamp and the stamp sheetlet have a lenticular effect, which simulates movement.
