Novak Djokovich 20th Grand Slam Title – Stamps by Serbia
Novak Djokovic of Serbia won his Sixth Wimbledon Title at the All England Club Centre Court on 11 Jul 2021 defeating the Italian 7th Seed Matteo Berrettini in four sets 6-7,6-4,6-4,6-3. This was his 20th Grand Slam Title equalling Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal’s record of 20 Grand Slam Titles. Wimbledon wins were in 2011, 2014, 2015 , 2018 , 2019, & 2021.
He has won Nine Australian Open Titles. The 2008 Australian Open Title was his First Grand Slam Title.
Serbia issued a stamp in his honour on 04 Apr 2008 to commemorate his Australian Open Victory and also to mark 2008 Olympics Serbian Tennis Team of which Djokovic was a member. He won the Men’s Singles Bronze Medal at Beijing Olympics. He won 2010 Davis Cup as member of Serbian Team.
