Deccan College Pune Bicentenary – India 2021.
India Post issued a Rupees Five denomination stamp on 06 Oct 2021 to mark the Bicentenary of the College. The Hindoo College was started on 06 Oct 1821 by the Bombay Presidency Government. It was renamed Poona College on 07 June 1851 and then renamed Deccan College in Oct 1864. It is the third oldest Educational Institution in India. Gothic Architecture.
