Malabar Pied Hornbill – Special Covers India 2023
The Malabar Pied Hornbill is a near threatened Species , found in tropical deciduous forests of Central & Southern India and Sri Lanka. Its last stronghold now is Dandeli region of Karnataka. The Government of Karnataka has constituted “Hornbill Conservation Reserve” in Haliyali Forest Division.
