75th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations with Luxembourg – India 2023

India issued a Miniature Sheet on 14 Mar 2023 to mark 75th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations with Luxembourg . Two stamps of Rupees 25 each feature sculptures by Amar Nath Sehgal (05 Feb 1922 – 28 Dec 2007). He was born in Lahore , moved to Delhi in 1947 and in 1979 established a studio in Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. He lived between India and Luxembourg until his return to India in 2004 .His iconic bronze bust sculpture of Mahatma Gandhi in Municipal Park in Luxembourg celebrates his strong connection with Luxembourg. Awarded Padma Bhushan in 2008.
