Special Cover India 2023 -Topekhana Jalore
A Special Cover was released on 15th Feb 2023 at Jalore , Rajasthan ,India on the Topekhana of Jalore. This monument was built by Raja Bhoj of Parmar Dynasty as a Sanskrit School in 10th Century. Its pillar bear inscriptions related to Jain and Hindu temples. Topekhana actually means Cannonry or Artillery Store. It was used by Rathore rulers of Marwar to store Artillery.
