Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Commemorative Coin and Stamp -India 2025

A Rupees 300 commemorative coin and stamp is being released today (31st May 2025) to mark 300th Birth Anniversary of Ahilyabai Holkar (1725-2025). This is the 10th coin to be released in 2025 and the first 300 rupees coin by Republic of India.

The Technical details of the coin are

Weight – 35 grams Quarternary alloy Metal . Kolkata Mint will mint and release these coins.

Stamps related to Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai -This will be the third stamp connected to Ahilabai Holkar.

A 25 paise stamp was released on 04 Sep 1975 featuring a temple which was in memory of Ahilyabai Holkar . It also marked 250th Birth Anniversary of Ahilyabai Holkar

A Two rupees stamp was released on 25th Aug 1996 to mark the 200th Death Anniversary of Ahilyabai Holkar
