50 Years of language movement- Miniature Sheet Bangladesh 2002
The Language Movement reached its peak in Feb 1952 and made a big contribution to the 1971 War of Liberation. Bangladesh issued a MINIATURE SHEET with Rupees 30 stamp on 21 Feb 2012 to mark 50 years of Language Movement and International Mother Language Day.
UNESCO declared 21 Feb as International Mother Language Day on 17 Nov 1999.
Stamps on Indian Ocean Naval Symposium – Bangladesh 2016
Indian Ocean Naval Symposium commonly known as IONS is a series of biennial meetings held among the littoral states of the Indian Ocean region. The Fifth meeting was held in Bangladesh from 11 to 13 Jan 2016. Bangladesh issued a stamp on 11 Jan 2016 to commemorate this Symposium. The 10 taka stamp features aircraft, ships and helicopters.

100th Anniversary of Scouting in Bangladesh – Stamps of Bangladesh 2016
Bangladesh issued two stamps to commemorate 100th Anniversary of Scouting in Bangladesh on 21 Jan 2016. It was formed in 1914 in East Bengal as part of British India Scouts Association and then continued as part of Pakistan Boy Scouts Association till 1971. Bangladesh became an Independent member of World Organisation of Scout Movement in 1974 and changed its name to Bangladesh Scouts in 1978.
Bangladesh issued a set of four stamps on the occasion of World FoodDay on 16 Oct 2009. The theme was Achieving food security in times of Crisis. The stamps show food and Vegetables . One of the stamps features a Medallion on Sheikh Hasina, PM of Bangladesh. A First Day Cover is listed.
