The First ICC U19 World Cup was held in 1988 as Youth World Cup and the next one was held only in 1998 and thereafter every two years. The 13th ICC U19 World Cup is scheduled to be held in South Africa from 17 Jan to 09 Feb 2020.

The Fifth  ICC U19 World Cup was hosted by Bangladesh from 15 Feb -4 Mar 2004. 16 teams took part and Pakistan beat West Indies in Finals at Bangabandhu National Stadium Dhaka by 25 runs to win the World Cup.

A  Stamp of 10 takas was issued by Bangladesh and First Day Cover is listed.

ICC T20 Cricket World Cup 2010 – Stamps of Bangladesh.

The Third ICC T20 World Cup was hosted by West Indies from 30 Apr to 16 May 2010. 12 teams took part and England beat Australia in Finals at Barbados by 7 wickets to win the World Cup.

The 7th ICC T20 World Cup is scheduled to be held in Australia from 18 Oct to 20 Nov 2020.

Bangladesh issued a 15 taka stamps to commemorate this World Cup.

The 1996 Summer Olympics or XXVI Olympics were held in Atlanta The USA  from 19 Jul to 04 Aug 1992. These Olympics were also known as the Centennial Olympic Games. A total of 10,320 athletes from 197 Nations participated in 26 Sports, 37 Disciplines and 271 events. President Bill Clinton of The USA inaugurated the Games. The USA topped the medals tally with 44 Gold Medals.

Bangladesh issued a miniature sheet of four stamps on 19 Jul 1992 to commemorate the Olympics as Centenary Olympics.

The unified team topped the medals tally with 45 Gold Medals.

Bangladesh gained Independence in 1971 and Bangladesh Olympic Committee (BOA) was formed in 1979. Bangladesh athletes first took part in the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympic Games. Bangladesh has never participated in the Winter Olympics.

The 2008 Summer Olympics or XXIX Olympics were held in Beijing China from 08 to 24 Aug 2008. Nepal issued a Rupees 15 stamp on 21 Aug 2008 to commemorate the Olympics. A total of 10,942 athletes from 204 Nations participated in 28 Sports, 41 Disciplines and 302 events. President Hu Jintao of China inaugurated the Games. China topped the medals tally with 48 Gold Medals. Nepal has been participating in the Olympics since the 1964 Olympics.

Four stamps were issued in a Se-Tenant Block of Four.
