Golden Jubilee Concert For Bangladesh – 01 Aug 2021.
A Pair of Benefit concerts were held by Pandit Ravi Shakar and Beatles Guitarist George Harrison on 01 Aug 1971 at Madison Square Garden New York City to raise funds for Bangladesh refugees after Genocides by Pakistan in East Pakistan.
To commemorate the Golden Jubilee of this event Bangladesh issued a 10 Taka stamp featuring Pandit Ravi Shakar and George Harrison on 01 Aug 2021.
