The Cook Islands issued a set of eight stamps 08 Mar 1984 to commemorate 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics. Three of these stamps were Air Mail Stamps. All stamps featured Olympic Posters tracing the history of the Olympic Games.

Olympic Stamps- Bangladesh has issued 34 stamps on Summer Olympics from 1976 to 2016. Bangladesh Post Office brought out a booklet cum presentation pack containing all stamps it has issued from 1976 to 2008 Summer Olympics. The same is being listed for the Olympic Collectors.

The 1996 Summer Olympics or XXVI Olympics were held in Atlanta The USA  from 19 Jul to 04 Aug 1992. These Olympics were also known as the Centennial Olympic Games. A total of 10,320 athletes from 197 Nations participated in 26 Sports, 37 Disciplines and 271 events. President Bill Clinton of The USA inaugurated the Games. The USA topped the medals tally with 44 Gold Medals.

Bangladesh issued a miniature sheet of four stamps on 19 Jul 1992 to commemorate the Olympics as Centenary Olympics.

A total of 9,356 athletes from 169 Nations participated in 25 Sports, 34 Disciplines and 257 events. King Juan Carlos I, inaugurated the Games. The unified team topped the medals tally with 45 Gold Medals.

A total of 10,651 athletes from 199 Nations participated in 28 Sports, 40 Disciplines and 300 events. Governor-General Sir William Deane inaugurated the Games. The USA topped the medals tally with 37 Gold Medals.

The 2008 Summer Olympics or XXIX Olympics were held in Beijing China from 08 to 24 Aug 2008.  A total of 10,942 athletes from 204 Nations participated in 28 Sports, 41 Disciplines and 302 events. President Hu Jintao of China inaugurated the Games. China topped the medals tally with 48 Gold Medals.

China issued a 1.20 Yuan stamp on 27 Apr 2007 to promote the Beijing Olympics Torch Relay. A special commemorative cover was issued on 08 May 2008 to coincide with Torch relay. The Olympics Flame was lit at Olympia on 24 Mar 2008 and it was called “Journey of Harmony”. It reached the Qomolangma (Tibetan for Mt Everest ) creating a record that Olympic Flame was lit at the highest point of the World.
