THAILAND POSTCARDS WORLD CHAMPIONS- ARGENTINA WON THE TROPHY TWICE.

Argentina has been winners twice in 1978 and 1986. It has been runners-up three times and has been present in all but four World Cups. Diego Maradona has played in four World Cups and has captained his team in 16 matches out of 21 matches that he has played.

Uruguay has also won it twice in 1930 and 1950. The National team has qualified for twelve World Cups. Fernando Muslera has played the last three World Cups and 16 Matches.

France won the 1998 FIFA World Cup as hosts in France and then won the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. Thierry Henry has played four World Cups and 17 matches wheres Fabien Barthez has played three World Cups and 17 matches. Zidane and Platini have been two of French greats at FIFA World Cups. Didier Deschamps won the 1998 World Cup as played and was coach of the 2018 World Cup squad which lifted the trophy.

England won the 1966 FIFA World Cup at Wembley Stadium, London. England first played in 1950 and has part of every World Cup since then.

Spain won the 2010 FIFA World Cup final held in Johannesburg, South Africa.

A Set of two Postcards were released for use in the competition for predicting the WInners of 2014 FIFA World cup.
