Olympic Stamps- Bangladesh has issued 34 stamps on Summer Olympics from 1976 to 2016. Bangladesh Post Office brought out a booklet cum presentation pack containing all stamps it has issued from 1976 to 2008 Summer Olympics. The same is being listed for the Olympic Collectors.

The 2000 Summer Olympics or XXVII Olympics were held in Sydney Australia from 15 Sep to 01 Oct 2000. A total of 10,651 athletes from 199 Nations participated in 28 Sports, 40 Disciplines and 300 events. Governor-General Sir William Deane inaugurated the Games. The USA topped the medals tally with 37 Gold Medals.
