Stamps on Siachen Glacier – India 2019.
Siachen Glacier is located in Eastern Karakoram ranges in the Himalayas at an elevation of 5,753 metres. It is the longest glacier in the Karakoram and second-longest Glacier in non-polar areas. Siachen in Balti language means Land with an abundance of roses.
India issued a Rupees Five Commemorative stamp on Siachen Glacier 25 Oct 2019.
